Architectural Consultant
Roche Studio served as the Architectural Representative for Developer Olympia & York’s Yerba Buena Gardens – an impressive 23-acre site development as San Francisco’s new downtown cultural center, including amenities such as a 750-seat theater, a visual arts center, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and distinctive public gardens used for recreation and public performances.
Roche directed and critiqued the overall conceptual urban design and architectural work of participating consultants and acted as a liaison to the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency.

“From street to stair, it’s a gentle choreography of seeing and being drawn in.”
